Cavedog is dead. Supreme Commander was made by Gas Powered Games, which is Chris Taylor's new company. Chris Taylor left Cavedog after Core Contingency. He had nothing to do with Kingdoms. Kingdoms sold poorly and received poor reviews. Atari owns the Total Annihilation IP, which they refused to sell, hence why GPG didn't call their game 'Total Annihilation 2.' Gas Powered Games is currently busy with at least 4 new game projects cooking at once.

One's a console game, one's a PC game based on totally new IP, one is Scathis and o's 'super secret' project which will be neither RTS nor RPG, and one is a Supreme Commander title, which will probably be an expansion pack.
